Best Looks – Giambattista Valli Haute Couture Spring 2017 Fashion Week

Giambattista Valli Haute Couture Spring 2017 Fashion Week was held in a labyrinth,  located in the intensely wrought-out spaces of Paris’ museum of the national archives, Marais.

Putting it in Giambattista Valli ‘s words, “a stroll  Mughal garden.”

The show opened with a model wearing a satin trapeze dress.

There were a No of Streamlined Pieces.

It all felt like a charming provocation with  floaty silhouettes, frilly meringues,  crystals, organzas ,tulles   and streamlined winks to the late sixties

The idea/concept behind the show was a traveller who packed one of her copious trunks with said looks and then pulled them out to find them creased from being stored.

The best part of the fashion show, was the ball gowns  ,

& This kinda makes me emensely happy  than anyone else just for the  fact that Ball Gowns are ‘officially‘ a trend again.

They were created out of countless yards of mousseline and tulle, a Giambattista Valli usual, & managed to make them look both extravagant  at the same time the colour choices and the right kind of embellishments .
